Friendly Friendness

I am having a birthday party. I have invited teachers to said party. Everyone is convinced this is sketchy. I am not. I'm convinced that this can be a totally  normal thing to do. In my family it is customary for someone who was important to your education to be invited to your events, because they are essentially your family. This might be in part because most members of my family have been teachers at some point of their lives. My mother is currently teaching with the Board of Edumacation. YAY TEACHERS. 

Anyway, I figure that inviting the Holy Trinity isn't too bad. They've been pretty important this year in my development as a person. Mother and Slyfox because literally I eat breathe and sleep Beaver.  And how could you have  the two with the third'Twould be amusing. Lisa would literally have a heart attack the day that happened. 

Part of the reason I invited the three of them is  because I LOVE them. Another part is they're all very private people who wouldn't go around talking about the party. 

And the other reason is because those were the only three teachers I would be willing to pay to see in my photo albums some day. I really don't care about other teachers that much, truth be told, though I love talking to them. But as I told  ERobs, Mother is the one I have to have. (Not in a sketchy way though, just in a possessive she-should-be-my-mother way). 

Anyway, Slyfox asked me discreetly yesterday if any other teachers were coming, and it was rather funny because she was like "well we knew that the others [in the Trinity] were invited, but we didn't know if you invited like 5 other teachers." This amused me greatly. What kind of crazy person do they think I am? If I invited almost 10 teachers, it wouldn't be as important that they were invited, and also it would be EXTREMELY strange because they would gossip about it, and certainly tell their students, and by that point, everyone would know that my Sweet Sixteen happened and who was there. I just didn't want to go through that drama, and at first I really just didn't think of other people. It was Mother in the first place, then Slyfox, because while I love Mother more, I also love Slyfox pretty muchly. In general would bring me/Lisa joy and would also be so cute to them at my party at one table being REALLY cute. 

So that's my rant about the party. It will be extremely exciting/fun/hilarious. All I have to do now is get a dress and plan the whole damn thing. Shit.
